As Head of Finance, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, overseeing all aspects of business planning, financial control, reporting, treasury management, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert financial insight and analysis to inform major projects, new business initiatives, and investment decisions.
• Manage financial risk, the development of the Value for Money strategy, and oversight of financial operations such as statutory accounting, payroll, procurement, taxation, and intercompany arrangements
• Take the lead on treasury activities and long-term business planning.

Candidate qualities and experience

This is a senior leadership position that requires a qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience, excellent team management skills, and the ability to communicate financial matters clearly and persuasively at Board level.

You will have a strong track record of leading high-performing finance teams, including other qualified professionals and will thrive in complex and regulated environments. You'll also combine technical financial expertise with excellent communication and leadership skills and will be adept at producing and interpreting financial reports, managing long-term business planning processes, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decisions.
