Marks Sattin are delighted to recruiting a Head of Financial Reporting role for a Sheffield based PLC.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the interim and annual reporting for the Group and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS)
• Developing the Group's reporting content including "front end" disclosures in the annual report
• Ensuring the latest reporting requirements and guidance are adhered to
• Managing stakeholder expectations in the annual reporting process
• Providing oversight and management for internal monthly reporting
• Helping to coordinate the external audit process with the auditors
• Providing technical accounting leadership to the wider Finance team
• Supporting internal control development and compliance for financial reporting
• Developing a team of five other people within the Group finance function
• Ad hoc Group projects/analysis

This opportunity is ideally suited to an ACA qualified (or equivalent) Accountant with strong technical skills and IFRS experience.
