Head of Transfer Agency

Reporting to the Head of Ireland Transfer Agency, you will be responsible for the management of a number of processing and Investor Servicing teams within the Ireland Transfer Agency department. The Head of TA operations in Limerick and The Head of TA operations in Dublin will report directly to you.

The department provides a third party fund administration service to numerous fund management companies covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions including dealing, registration, settlements, distributions, commissions and statements.

Knowledge/Skills;

  • Significant operational experience gained in a TPA, TA or working directly for a fund manager
  • Proven people management and change management skills essential
  • Process analysis/improvement experience will be advantageous
  • Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills
  • Good keyboard skills to include MS Excel and ability to learn systems used within the business
  • Experience in working with Multi Currency and FX
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to review and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Strong client focus gained in a financial services company

Major Duties:

  • Responsibility for the day to day delivery of the Transfer Agency operational and investor servicing group together with the Anti-Money Laundering and Regulatory Reporting Team
  • Provide technical expertise for the development of new business relationships and develop procedures for the take on of new products and services.
  • To work with internal departments to evaluate and implement changes in proposed new regulations and to ensure that all current requirements are met
  • Ensure operating procedures are established and adhered to, enhancing current procedures to improve productivity and quality.
  • Oversight of processing quality and timeliness in Limerick, seeking appropriate information from local management there where required

  • Oversight of processing quality and timeliness in Bangalore, seeking appropriate information from local management there where required
  • Maximise scalability through the use of onshore and offshore locations and multi-function.
  • Produce management reporting for monthly activities with particular Focus on accuracy and Timeliness in all locations and remedial programs where appropriate
  • Manage client issues ensuring appropriate resolution, including regular liaison with clients, relationship managers and other operational managers to provide a seamless service.
  • Liaising with clients regarding Service and Service Level Agreements
  • Consult on effective ways to meet client needs or appropriate methods to be used for resolution of an error.
  • Maintain relations with third parties - to include Client, internal relations with other departments and Auditors.
  • Analyse monthly management information to understand where quality at an individual, process, team or management company needs to be addressed
  • Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
  • Responsible for the development, recruitment, appraisals and retention of Partners.
  • Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements
