FTSE 100 natural resources company requires an IFRS specialist to be based in their Central London HQ. As a technically competent individual you will assist in implementing and harmonizing the Group's accounting policies. Our client is fast developing and frequently acquiring new assets around the world and consequently their finance team needs to be kept up to date with Group policies.

Reporting directly in to the Methodology Manager your role will be based around strategy and analysis. As an expert with IFRS you will be working closely with the Group and Corporate Reporting teams to investigate and research new circumstances and ad hoc issues. With a focus on best practice, you will verify that all announcements and information relating to the Annual report and Accounting policies are factually correct.

This is a highly visible role for a individual who will relish the responsibility of being the Group and Corporate teams main port of call. It is expected that you will be a fully qualified accountant preferably with Big 4 audit experience, whilst experience of IFRS is imperative.
