Interim Group Financial Controller/Director

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected group who are looking for an Interim Group FC/Director to join the business ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that management accounts are scheduled, timetabled and delivered promptly throughout the business. This information should provide management the tools to maximize profits and plan for the future growth of the brands, in essence, the reports produced should stimulate management action.
• Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties (including to lenders, advisors, external directors & JV partners), building the best relationships possible at all times.
• Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
• Take overall control of the company's accounting function integrating with, leading and developing the incumbent accounting team.
• To compile, together with management the budgets and forecasts covering the various Group brands.

Skills & Experience:

• ACA qualified and Big 4 Corporate Finance experience preferably (although other accountancy qualifications may be considered
• Post qualified experience working at a senior level for a complex business
• Good interpersonal skills and influencing skills at all levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in raising / refinancing / debt advisory / corporate finance
• Ability to tailor financial communications to the appropriate audience.
