Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a well-known Private Equity House for their ESG Fund who are looking to hire a highly skilled Investment Director. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance our client's longstanding commitment to investing responsibly. The appointment is fully endorsed by the founding partners and supported by the wider leadership team.

As Investment Director you will drive impact through both the review and enhancement of ESG strategy at fund level through to implementation and engagement at portfolio company level and improve current ESG policies, data collection and reporting at both fund and portfolio company levels.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience of ESG strategy development and implementation within private equity.
• In addition to experience within an investment manager, experience with a consultancy or moving from a large corporate or inhouse driving sustainability efforts and engagement with investors is key.
• ESG reporting, and development of measurement frameworks.
• The ability to work autonomously with a hands-on approach.
• The aptitude to excel in a small, entrepreneurial and meritocratic business.
