One of the largest global natural gas companies are looking for a permanent IT Business Analyst to work on all parts of the application lifecycle within a trading and risk management environment for the oil and gas, refined products, and biofuels markets. This is a great chance for an IT Business Analyst to grow an understanding and gain experience surrounding ETRM systems, and to take a lead role in a business critical function that will contribute towards the success of the overall corporate plan, all the while improving their career prospects within this sector. Whilst the role is based in Central London, there is a flexible hybrid-working plan which allows for the candidate to work from home 2 days per week.

Expertise/Responsibilities:

  • The IT Business Analyst should be familiar with ETRM or CTRM systems - having relevant project implementation experience is also desirable but not obligatory.
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle is an essential requirement for the success of this role.
  • The IT Business Analyst will be a vital link between the business functions and the ICT Department to evaluate their needs and priorities, and to oversee development and change delivery and all associated communications.
  • Having knowledge of the Commodity and Energy markets will be essential to the success of the IT Business Analyst role.
