A successful hospitality company is looking for a progressive, career driven Finance Assistant to join their team.

The role is temp to perm and offers a good study support package as the role goes permanent.

It is hybrid working (3 days a week at home) and based in Central London. Experience is less important than commitment to learning and progressing. 1 to 3 years experience in a finance role would be ideal.

Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:

• Production of daily cash and bank reconciliations, investigating variances and resolving them in a timely manner
• Producing revenue reports and monthly revenue reconciliation
• As directed by the Management Accountants support the month end process
• Assist with production of ad hoc analysis
• Performing the monthly deposit reconciliations
• Help Management Accountant identify potential bad debts across the group
• Performing the monthly trade debtors reconciliations
• Understand reasons for key variances and identify and fix the issues
• Issue sales invoices
• Charging agency commissions
• At year end liaise with external auditors
• As directed by Management Accountants help prepare and reconcile year end accounts
• Attend sites to address ad hoc issues during the month

You will be well supported as you are learning to do the above tasks.

The ideal Finance Assistant will:

• Have intermediate level knowledge of Excel and Word
• Ability to develop basic financial skills including operating accounting software packages
• Previous experience in working with SAP financial system desirable but not essential
