Management Accountant
Manchester
£40,000

My client is a leading manufacturing & distributing firm based in Manchester. They offer a range of specialised products and services to a wide range of customers across various industries and are the main manufacturer and distributor within these industries also.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Conducting variance analysis and providing commentary
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assisting with financial projects and initiatives
  • Providing support to the wider finance team
  • Working closely with external auditors
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes
  • The inventory costing/stock costing process


A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualification or pursuing (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting experience
  • Experience in the Manufacturing sector
  • Experience with Stock Costing
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
