Management Accountant - London

Seeking a Management Accountant for a 6-month contact within a media company based in Central London. Responsible for providing financial and administrative services to ensure an efficient, accurate & timely Financial & Management Accounting function. Assisting the financial close and reporting process, including the month and year-end management and statutory reporting, Provide a high level of service to the business, in particular the transactional function of finance.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and modifying Marketing Services projects, contracts, project budgets, and customer invoices according to the company or Client requirements.
• Preparation of monthly project reconciliations, by monitoring progress of projects. Ensure all expenditure processed timely, investigate any variances, and ensure project billings issued to customers and payments collected are timely.
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts for the EMEA Marketing Services divisions, providing appropriate level review, analyses and reconciliation
• Transactional support of P&Ls for Marketing Services divisions ensuring accuracy of reporting, meaningful variance analysis and commentary for Senior Management
• Balance sheet reconciliations for the EMEA Marketing Services divisions.
• Preparation and posting of journal entries in line with month end procedures.
• Maintain strong financial controls and escalate issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Develop financial systems to drive efficiencies and make processes more user friendly.

Requirements:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Proficient with Excel. Ideally Pivot tables & VLOOKUPs
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Experience working in a multi-national company
