Arguably one of the most highly regarded names in Investment Management is looking to appoint Supervisor/Manager to head up the Fixed Income Division. With over £100 billion of assets under management and a long history within the market this really is a great opportunity for any career focused candidate.
This role will give you a chance to affect all areas of the investment process which will include fund launch involvement, oversight of administrators, review of regular financial information/financial statements, attending board meetings to discuss funds' business and operation as well as supporting the investment team in relation to significant transactions and projects.
Given the nature of the role the client is looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, CA or equivalent) at the manager level from the big 4 or another leading accountancy firm where they have audited fixed income products / fixed income funds. You portfolio of clients will likely include Asset Managements or Investment Banks. Experience of financial statutory accounting is essential as well as solid knowledge of securities and derivatives.
