Contract: Temporary 6-month contract
Brand New Role for a Payroll Clerk to join a manufacturing business on a temporary 6-month contract. A great client of ours is looking for some support for the next few months to assist in Payroll duties, such as; adding new starters, processing timesheets, maintaining the payroll database etc. Brilliant experience and lovely business.
Main duties include:
- Submit and upload timesheets onto payroll using templates already implemented.
- Log and update system with sickness days to calculate and record.
- Tracking holiday usage through payroll system.
- Add starters/processing leavers onto the system and liaising with the HR department.
- Monitor and maintain of payroll system to ensure all information is up to date and correct.
- Support/work alongside the HR team to implement new system to simplify processes.
- Coordinate and support the annual salary review data alongside HR.
- Create reports to check over information before submission to payroll providers.
- Provide advice and support to Managers and Employees in all aspects of pay queries.
- Working with employees to enrol them onto pension and benefit schemes.
- Administrate any deductions, enquires and queries.
- Report funding for payroll runs to financial accountant.
- Support systems testing and project work as required.
- Build relationships with the management team to ensure that any changes to payroll circumstances are communicated effectively to flow to the teams.
Below are some pointers for the ideal candidate:
- Knowledge of ADP iHCM
- Computer literate - Microsoft & Excel
- Great within a team
- Able to run of desk/manage own work.
- Knowledge of payroll processes including regulatory payments/deductions
- Knowledge of pension scheme operation
