Currently working with a growing Accountancy Practice in Halesowen, West Midlands who are looking to invite a Payroll Manager into their team. They need someone to take over the payroll function and become the #1 within the team. Managing your own portfolio of clients as well as supporting the rest of the payroll function.
Main duties include:
- Managing a portfolio of payroll clients.
- Managerial responsibilities and support for the payroll team.
- Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payrolls.
- Knowledge of CIS for subcontractors and sole traders.
- Updating Directors with monthly reports.
- Liaising with HMRC to resolve any client queries.
- Administration of PAYE, National Insurance deductions based on individual allowances.
- Mandatory deductions of student loans, SSP, SMP SAP, SPP, court orders and other legislative responsibilities.
- Delivering high quality customer service!
An ideal candidate:
- Have minimum of 5 years managerial/supervisory experience
- Experienced working with an Accountancy Practice
- Experienced managing own portfolio of clients
- Computer Literate
- Customer service/organisational skills
- PayCircle/ similar software experience
