Experience working in an Accountancy Practice?

Well! Do I have a role for you!!

Currently working with a growing Accountancy Practice in Halesowen, West Midlands who are looking to invite a Payroll Manager into their team. They need someone to take over the payroll function and become the #1 within the team. Managing your own portfolio of clients as well as supporting the rest of the payroll function.

Main duties include:

  • Managing a portfolio of payroll clients.
  • Managerial responsibilities and support for the payroll team.
  • Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payrolls.
  • Knowledge of CIS for subcontractors and sole traders.
  • Updating Directors with monthly reports.
  • Liaising with HMRC to resolve any client queries.
  • Administration of PAYE, National Insurance deductions based on individual allowances.
  • Mandatory deductions of student loans, SSP, SMP SAP, SPP, court orders and other legislative responsibilities.
  • Delivering high quality customer service!

An ideal candidate:

  • Have minimum of 5 years managerial/supervisory experience
  • Experienced working with an Accountancy Practice
  • Experienced managing own portfolio of clients
  • Computer Literate
  • Customer service/organisational skills
  • PayCircle/ similar software experience
