Personal Tax Assistant / Leeds - Hybrid / £30,000 DOE with Benefits

Marks Sattin are currently collaborating with a family practice in Leeds who are currently going through a period of growth and are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Assistant. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a fantastic business during a period of sustained growth. The team covers a wide variety of matters dealing with a large number of Personal Tax Clients and are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual.

The Role:

Duties will mainly include working with the Tax Manager and other members of the team on the Personal Tax aspects and dealing with other administrative matters.

Day to Day includes:

  • Look after client projects through regular communication with the relevant parties and good organisation.
  • Preparing tax returns
  • Checking tax codes
  • Checking repayments
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing CGT Returns
  • Dividend & income planning
  • Checking payments on account
  • Ad hoc advisory work
  • Completion of Form 17
  • Completion of timesheets

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • ATT/ACA/CTA qualified or working towards
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong personal tax background,
  • Tax compliance experience
