You will be reporting into the Finance Manager where you will deal with your own set of accounts liaising with suppliers ensuring that all purchase invoices and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Role:
- Processing of a high volume of purchase invoices ensuring they are completed accurately and on time
- Ensuring payments are made in a timely manner in line with the agreed processes
- Deal with varying invoices queries including complex queries, such as multiple invoices discrepancies
- Liaising with colleagues and suppliers to follow up on outstanding invoices and dealing with any issues/problems that may arise
- Completion of supplier statement reconciliations
- Providing adhoc support and assistance elsewhere within the team as requested by Finance Manager
What you need?
You'll be the kind of person who is highly organised self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritise workload. You will have at least 3 years' experience within purchase ledger and working knowledge of Cargowise would be an advantage. The ability to use your own initiative and attention to detail is a must, while having a hardworking, proactive and positive approach.
