A reputable restaurant group located in central London is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their fast pace team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing the management accounts including month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, sales and cost reporting as well as assisting with the preparation of the board packs, P&L reviews, budget and forecast processes and general ad hoc analysis.
Ideally this candidate will have strong commercial awareness and will have experience working in the restaurant and hospitality sector. They should have excellent communication skills for interaction with personnel at all levels and the ability to work towards deadlines and self-prioritize. Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential and familiarity with Sage 200 systems is desirable. The role would suit someone who is part qualified/ finalist level of an accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
