A prestigious and internationally renowned designer brand requires a vibrant and ambitious Finance Director to assume leadership of their finance function. Our client has achieved consistent and efficient growth globally, and the Finance Director will secure continued growth through a direct strategic input.

At the heart of the business you will be a pivotal member of the board; a highly experienced team of an exemplary standard. Prior experience of successful business partnering which has positively impacted growth is crucial as you will deliver a constant contribution to the brands overall strategic direction.

Integral to this role will be management of external investor relationships. As FD you will combine a natural flair with a discerning approach to business relationship building to secure future private equity prosperity. At the root of this role is the day to day running of the finance function and establishing a professionalization of practices within the function. You will lead, with determination, the implementation of professional systems, processes and controls.

Core responsibilities will also include the enhancement of performance on an operational and financial basis, contributing to profit through contracts and bottom level costs. Whilst the FD is required to maximize efficiency across the entire finance function, you will also exercise excellent inter-personal skills as manager of a small finance team and supply-chain.

Our client requires a qualified accountant that possesses a wealth of retail/ wholesale experience with multi-channel retailing. Due to the nature of the role combining different elements of the brand, it is essential that you are a natural multi-tasker with supply-chain management experience. Due to the brand being PE backed, successful PE experience will work to your benefit.
