A leading international organisation are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to be based in Guildford, Surrey.

Role Overview

As a Senior Finance Analyst you will be providing financial and strategic input into all key business decisions, you will review, assess and challenge business performance and identify profit improvement opportunities.

Role Responsibilities;

• Critically analyse business performance through the use of various business intelligence tools
• Work closely with your business partners, generating an appropriate financial forecast on a periodic basis to support delivery of business sector targets
• Analyse the financial projection generated by the system through the exception reporting and ensure that each exception is well discussed with the business and actions are implemented
• Provide analytical rigour, guidance and support for business initiatives
• Primary owner of site, product and customer profitability analysis
• Responsible for the investment appraisal analysis and commercialisation reporting
• Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to ensure that appropriate profitability reports are available for the business to review
• Drive the annual and strategic planning process for the business
• Critically evaluate all customer and site related capex requirements
• Proactively drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Meet global and ad-hoc business information requirements

Candidate Requirements;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Educated to degree level and a strong, proven accounting background
• Previous experience in a commercial, business facing role is preferable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Superior time management skills
• Knowledge of SAP R3/Business Warehouse & TM1 is also desirable
