Start your job searchA Global Banking Group is looking to attract a VP level candidate to their Group FP&A team. The position is focused on delivering insightful, timely, value added analysis and commentary to the Board and Group Executive Committee through high quality communication and analysis.
The Group MI and Analytics team is responsible for all high level business analytics, commentary, the Group's segmental data, management reporting policy and "management discussion and analysis" in external documents, such as the PLC accounts and other investor communications. The team is comprised of business specialists with a thorough understanding of the issues affecting the Bank's performance and are seen as an elite team with high profile backing from the Group CFO. The department currently has a significant change agenda underway and this will drive improvements in reporting, analytics, planning and systems, which will lead to a 'best in class' management reporting and planning at both Group and Regional levels. It's likely you'll be an experienced and seasoned FP&A pro happy to work in a stand alone position that draws resources and support from a wider pool of Analysts and Senior Analysts.
Your background is likely to be at an equivalent senior level in the Banking, Insurance or Funds Management sector or a similar regulated environment. Excellent academics, formal qualifications (ACA/CA, CIMA or equivalent) in addition to a proven track record of success in a Group or Business Unit MI / FP&A / Business Performance role are absolutely essential in addition to proven stakeholder management experience in a complex and multi faceted global business.
Salary on offer is c£80-100,000 (DOE) plus benefits and a healthy discretionary bonus in the region of 25-30% as a guide.
