Marks Sattin are recruiting for a leading international Retail business in the Manchester region. We are looking for a senior treasury Analyst/Manager to join their great team. You will be involved with managing the treasury function as well as process improvements. This is a hybrid role and an attractive salary package

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of UK cash flow forecasts on a daily basis, co-ordinating input from teams on key inflows and outflows
  • Managing intercompany funding and loan arrangements.
  • Manage placement of excess funds including money markets deposits and fixed term investments.
  • Responsible for reviewing the daily UK bank and cash position reports prepared by the cashbook teams
  • Support with managing the Group FX exposure through cashflow analysis and the maintenance of the FX system FXall
  • Calculate and present monthly FX revaluations
  • Provide monthly reports relating to FX and cashflow forecasts, including monitoring of counterparty risk exposure
  • Assisting in producing the banking facilities related reporting
  • Reviewing group wide cash flow and working capital forecasts
  • Supporting internal controls and processes
  • Establish relationships with group finance, tax, legal and other central departments


Skills/Knowledge needed:

  • Excellent Microsoft skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical skills required in order to investigate, understand and explain variances and overall business
  • Good interpersonal communication skills in order to build and maintain relationships within Head Office and local subsidiary teams.
  • Self-motivated, organised individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy whilst working under pressure
  • Treasury experience, preferably within a large multi-site environment
