An exciting new opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a family run, award winning retail business in Huddersfield.

This role reports directly into the Finance Director. Once you are fully competent in the duties below, this role will grow into you been involved in Management accounts, month end and much more.

Duties of the role:

• Bank postings and reconciliations for multi currency
• Control Account reconciliations
• Fixed Asset register management
• Payment Runs
• Reconciliation and analysis of both the Balance Sheet and selective Profit & Loss accounts.

This role would suit someone who thrives in fast-paced, non-routine environments and enjoys playing a key role which will impact business decisions.

Study support for ACCA/CIMA will be on offer with this role.

This role is 100% office based.
