Treasury & Back office employee

Our client, an international utility in Amsterdam, is currently looking for a Treasury & Back office employee.

As a Treasury employee you are within The Netherlands responsible for the whole Treasury department on your own. You will be monitoring the daily treasury position closing and you are responsible for the administration of the financial operations.

The organization has a beautiful office located in Amsterdam. Because of it's international character, English will be the main language. This role has a prospect of a permanent contract.

The role

  • You are responsible for the administration of financial operations, related payments aspects, financial agreements (derivatives, debt and cash);
  • You will be monitoring the daily treasury position closing;
  • Data entry in position keeping system (Murex);
  • Fulfillment of all EMIR requirements related to deals execution and portfolio reconciliation
  • Support and monitor Derivatives market value and Credit Support Annex activities
  • Support and monitor bank KYC processes with banks and Company's affiliated entities
  • Support accounting and posting aspects of financial operations in an IFRS 9 environment

Requirements

  • You need to have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within Treasury;
  • You have understanding of FX derivative markets and products;
  • At least a bachelor degree within finance, banking or economics;
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Good skilled in Excel;
  • Available to work for 36 hours per week
  • Able to work in a complex organizational structure

Very likely to have

  • Living in the area of Amsterdam (or +/- 30km around);
  • Able to travel with public transport / bike to the office (no parking available near the office)
  • Knowledge of the Dutch, Spanish or Italian language as second language would be a plus

Offer

  • Salary indication between €3500,- á €4500,- gross, based upon a 40 hours contract, depending on your experience;
  • Direct contract with the client;
