Workday Test Analyst - 6 month contract

A prestigious global business services company is currently looking for a Test Analyst with a proven track record of working on Workday HR implementations.

The main remit of the role will be to produce test scenarios and scripts that support the test strategy, test the process, data and authorisations in the Workday system and track progress of testing activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience of Workday as well as an appreciation of HR processes and be prepared to put themselves in the shoes of an end user.

Responsibilities

  • Playing a major role in carrying out day to day responsibilities of testing, to ensure the delivery of Workday is achieved on time and with minimal risk to BAU
  • To create and maintain test data
  • To write test scenarios, ensuring they represent the full set of functionality being tested, both within the Workday HR system and across the integrated IT landscape
  • To execute test scripts as per the test plan created by the Test Lead
  • Recording and analysing test results, instigate and progress error procedures for any faults found
  • Make recommendations on the final quality of the HR solution and its suitability for going live
  • Production of project progress reports for the Test Lead and other stakeholders
  • Escalation of risks to Test Lead, Data Lead and Functional Leads, working proactively to resolve issues where necessary
  • Act as a point of reference for business UAT teams during their testing windows

Skills Required

  • Experience of deploying and testing enterprise-scale software solutions
  • Cloud HR and Workday implementation experience is essential
  • Understanding of test strategies
  • Keen ability to quickly connect business requirements with the functional capabilities of the application
  • Expert in the assessment of business objectives, formulating solution options, and driving stakeholder support
  • Solid experience leading integration work streams on projects
