Interim Accounting Policy - Insurance (Contract)

We are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing insurance underwriting firm based in the city in the search for an interim Technical Accountant with a background in the insurance sector.

*Daily rate £550-£750 per day Ltd (Outside IR35) depending on your experience.

*Hybrid working conditions - 3 days in the office

This is initially a 3 month contract reporting to the Group FD.

Responsibilities may include:

- Reviewing & challenging technical accounting matters under IFRS and local GAAP

- Compliance with IFRS17

- Reviewing accounting structures to see if they are fit for purpose

- Setting up an internal controls framework


What are client is looking for:

- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA etc) - 8+ years post qualified experience

- Strong technical accounting / accounting policy experience IFRS /GAAP

- Insurance / Reinsurance / Lloyds of London sector experience

- Available at short notice - immediate or 1 week max
