Marks Sattin currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a rapidly growing business within the tech sector, voted as one of the best places to work in the UK!

They are looking for a candidate who is keen to progress, who has a minimum of 18 months experience within accounts and would like to pursue a long-term career within finance!

Supporting the Head of Finance and based in Leeds centre, the company require a candidate with good understanding of Purchase Ledger, while also understanding Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Bank Reconciliations.

In return, they are offering a salary of up to £30,000! Please not, this is an office-based role. This role will look at both temporary and permanent candidates, with an immediate start preferred.

They will also support permanent candidates with AAT studies.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Accurate processing of supplier invoices in the financial accounting system with weekly production of the creditors list
  • Daily bank reconciliations, including multi-currency transactions
  • Weekly expense processing and credit card spend management ensuring all submitted are in line with policies
  • Credit control and cash allocations with weekly production of debtor list
  • Ledger account balancing and manual journal entries
  • Assisting with VAT returns, management accounts, and cashflow
  • Liaising with other teams to ensure reports and information are provided in a timely manner
  • Fixed Asset register management
  • Assisting with facilities management
