Accounts Payable Accountant - London
Seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant for a 3-month contract within a manufacturing company based in Central London. This role will undertake key financial accounting processes and involve continuous interaction with key internal and external stakeholders.
Accounts Payable:
- Preparing and maintaining Accounts Payable records
- Preparation of payment runs and reconciliation of vendor statements
- Reviewing open Purchase orders to drive business department actions relating to purchases
- Ensure best practice account reconciliations are performed on a recurring basis.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- Experience in Accounts Payable processes (minimum 2 years)
- NetSuite experience
- Use of financial IT systems to ensure accurate processing of high-volume transactional data
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience of small-scale process improvement and implementation of new processes
- Experience within a retail or e-commerce business would be highly advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and manipulating information/data
