Our client is a multi-national logistics business based in Staines-upon-Thames. They have a reputation for being a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role:
Not just Invoice processing!
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily processing and reconciliation of cash payments, across all bank accounts.
- Accurate review and processing of all expenditure including correct VAT treatment.
- Taking ownership for the accurate coding of all invoices.
- Ensure that company policy on cash and credit card expenses is adhered to.
- Tracking priority creditors and proactively ensuring payment is made within terms.
- Production of bi-weekly payment runs.
- Deal with inter-company recharges.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Responsible for the upkeep and integrity of the Creditor Ledger.
- Ensure any recharge costs are clearly documented and tracked in a timely manner.
- Reconciliation of your balance sheet accounts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- AAT level 2 or higher
- Multi currency experience is a bonus but NOT a pre-requisite
- Experience working within the finance function of an SME.
- Multi-tasking.
- Good written and verbal communications skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Strong MS Excel skills
