Accounts Payable Assistant - Staines-upon-Thames - £28,000 to £32,000

The Role:

Not just Invoice processing!

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily processing and reconciliation of cash payments, across all bank accounts.
• Accurate review and processing of all expenditure including correct VAT treatment.
• Taking ownership for the accurate coding of all invoices.
• Ensure that company policy on cash and credit card expenses is adhered to.
• Tracking priority creditors and proactively ensuring payment is made within terms.
• Production of bi-weekly payment runs.
• Deal with inter-company recharges.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for the upkeep and integrity of the Creditor Ledger.
• Ensure any recharge costs are clearly documented and tracked in a timely manner.
• Reconciliation of your balance sheet accounts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• AAT level 2 or higher
• Multi currency experience is a bonus but NOT a pre-requisite
• Experience working within the finance function of an SME.
• Multi-tasking.
• Good written and verbal communications skills at all levels of an organisation.
• Strong MS Excel skills
