Accounts Payable Clerk - entry level - Chertsey (2 days on site) - £26,000 to £32,000 + Study support



A brilliant opportunity for someon to start their Accounting journey, you'll be working at an iconic British brand with close to 100 years of heritage.

Happy to look at individuals with or without prior Accounts Payable experience.


You'll be reporting inot the AP/AR Supervisor, and have responsibility for the Accounts Payable ledger, inclusive of....

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
• Matching invoices and credit notes to goods received notes and purchase orders
• Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Resolve invoice queries by liaising with purchasing, sales managers and external stakeholders
• Assist with month end journals preparations and postings
• Undertake specific finance or business projects working alongside other functions as requested
• Setting up new supplier accounts and ownership of bank account verification
• Process expenses claims and credit card claims

• Timely supplier payments
• Wroking capital management

About you....

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build cross functional (finance and non-finance) relationships
• Have a good hgrasp of/understanding of MS Excel
• Highly motivated, commercially minded individual with can do attitude
