Start your job searchAn Assistant Accountant is required to start ASAP with a Private Equity firm based in London. This is a perfect role for an ambitious part-qualified accountant who is looking to progress their career quickly and pursue their qualification.
This is a 6 month initial contract with the capacity to go permanent after the initial contract period.
You will be working directly with a small finance team and will be able to get involved with a broad variety of work.
Main duties would include but are not limited to:
- Processing invoices, expenses etc
- Assisting with prepayments and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with maintenance of the fixed assets register including additions, disposals.
- Assisting with the financial accounting for various entities
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets.
- Maintain and improving processes and procedures
The successful candidate will have at-least two years' experience in an Assistant Accountant/Finance Assistant role. This would ideally be within a financial services environment but this is not a pre-requisite. You would also be actively pursuing an accountancy qualification.
Strong excel skills would be a distinct advantage.
This role requires the candidate to be in the office 5 days per week. You would be working directly with the Finance Manager/FC who would also be in 5 days per week so would be on-hand to assist with your learning and development in the role.
Please note, due to the urgent nature of this position, candidates on a notice period of more than one month cannot be considered for this role.
