Start your job searchA leading Irish PLC with an outstanding reputation worldwide is seeking an Assistant Manager for its SOX project management office (PMO) to join their team.

Your duties will include the following:
- Assist the Group SOX Project office and Group in ensuring annual SOX Compliance is achieved across the Group
- Plan and prioritise work to meet Group deadlines for SOX 404 deliverables.
- Support the subsidiary Companies with the rollout and compliance with SOX 404 requirement, whilst ensuring that SOX compliance is achieved.
- Devising practical solutions to issues that arise in the course of this work
- Carrying out special project work as requested
- Advocate and identify areas where technology can be leveraged to streamline and Improve internal Project Office Processes & Procedures
- Co-ordinate communication and activities with Internal & External Audit teams.
- Involvement in quality control of SOX Testing work performed
- Oral and written reporting of issues arising and documentation of steps , processes taken to ensure remediation of issues
- Communication to senior Group and Operating Company Management of issues and solutions
- Preparation of material for submission to the Audit Committee
- Identifying the needs and best methods to improve risk management and internal control across the Group.
- Applying knowledge of the business and the industry to advance and develop internal control in the company.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years PQE and experience working in a SOX or financial controls environment would be an advantage.
