Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for an exciting, fast-growing tech business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant to work out of their Liverpool city centre offices on a hybrid working model.
The successful candidate will need to be studying towards their CIMA, ACCA or AAT qualifications and have previous experience of management accounts. Strong communication skills are essential as this role will be required to liaise with all levels of the organisation. Advanced Excel skills will also be crucial and any exposure to Sage would be beneficial although not essential. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is also a key component of the Assistant Management Accountant position. Key duties for the role will include the following:
- Assist with month-end accounting
- Accruals and prepayments
- Journal postings
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of statutory submissions
- Identify process and systems improvements
- Adhoc project work
Salary for the role is up to £38,000 + study support
