Business Analyst - Credit Risk - Murex
A well renowned Bank is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in London. This new opportunity requires the successful candidate to use insight to gain an understanding of business problems, challenge existing practises and develop solution within Financial Markets Infrastructure.
The candidates' responsibilities include:
- Ensures that the design of all solutions meet the business requirements, delivers the defined benefits, contributes to the delivery of the business strategy and drives quality in all BA activities.
- Shapes objectives, overall scope, and solution as well as the approach to resourcing, requirements analysis and solution design.
- Builds and maintains external and internal networks to identify best practice and to build the profile of the business analysis community.
- Leads, motivates and develops team members to create a high performing team. Contributes to the development and performance of the wider business analyst community, including identifying opportunities for colleagues in line with future skill and resourcing requirements and sharing best practice approaches.
- Continuously evaluates, programme/projects for business analysis, financial and people risk and regulatory compliance and takes appropriate steps to mitigate.
The candidate suitability is determined by the following skills set and experience that are detailed bellow:
- Specialist Murex Limit Controller (MLC) business configuration knowledge
- Strong Credit Risk change experience
- Experienced Business Analyst with proven experience of producing high-quality requirements documentation for medium to large-scale projects, preferably in Risk
- Knowledge of Credit Risk or Market Risk for traded products (Repo, Rates, FX, Credit, MM and structured products etc.)
- Highly motivated individual who works well autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Life-Cycle.
