Business Analyst - Financial Services - Manager - Dublin

Your key responsibilities

  • You will help clients align project outcomes with business strategy by acting as an intermediary between business and technology stakeholders
  • Development of robust business cases, supported by strategic analysis frameworks, data analysis and market insights
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and drive their implementation, supported by documented process maps and training programmes
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of organisational functions to elicit, analyse, prioritise and document requirements for process or technology enabled change
  • Define test scripts aligned with business requirements and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to enable the delivery of fit for purpose solutions
  • Evaluate the capabilities of external partner organisations to deliver against business requirements

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Proven change delivery experience in Financial Services (across Banking, Insurance or Wealth Management sectors)
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across business and technology stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Attention to detail and time management skills

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Business Analysis qualifications preferable
  • Data modelling or analysis experience (incl. SQL) preferable
  • Software testing experience preferable

What we look for

  • Proficient in the use of requirements engineering techniques (including elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation)
  • Proficient in the use of Visio (or equivalent process mapping software) to document as-is and to-be processes, systems or data solutions
  • Evidence of market knowledge, including familiarity with the Irish Financial Services sector, emerging technologies and regulatory changes
