Excellent opportunity for Qualified and experienced Business controller to join a dynamic finance team. This role will oversee and manage financial operations while driving strategic planning and growth. Reporting to the Finance Director for UK & Ireland

Duties will include:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and operational reports with insightful metrics and analyses
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads and senior management to create budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor performance, provide variance analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Financial and Operational Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to evaluate financial health, performance, and efficiency. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess potential business opportunities.
• Cost Management: Monitor and control costs across departments, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard assets and drive company growth.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop financial models to support planning, investments, and risk assessments.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Systems and Process Improvement: Continuously enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting for operational efficiency.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Conduct risk assessments and develop management plans

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field as well as a recognised Accounting Qualification - ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in business/financial controlling, accounting, auditing, or related roles.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Effective communication of complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking, flexibility, and drive for results.
