Marks Sattin Executive Search is currently working with a Founder-Led TV and Film production business who are seeking an exceptionally well-rounded and commercially-focused CFO to be based at their new central London offices. This role would see you on the trajectory to become a key decision-maker for the business alongside the founder and the board, with a goal of significantly increasing the growth of the business and direct it towards a successful exit.

In partnership with the Founder and other members of the senior management team, the CFO will take full responsibility for developing and overseeing the finance function of the business. As CFO, you will thus be at the helm of all financial processes, advancing and managing the financial operations of the business, expanding and assembling a strong financial team, completing compliance and risk analysis duties, and overseeing the presentation of reports to the board. You will also provide support to all operational aspects of the business, including IT, property, and human resources. As CFO, you will further be working alongside the other members of the senior executive team to formulate the strategy for the continued growth and development of the business.

The ideal candidate for this role:

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably chartered.
• Experience as CFO/FD in a TV and Film Production business.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills, and a skilled communicator.
• Experience with the implementation of financial systems, processes and controls
• Proven track record of leading transactions up to a potential sale
• Keen eye for detail and considerable technical and commercial awareness
