Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a PE-backed International Software business, going through a period of rapid growth. With an impressive track record and exciting plans for both organic and inorganic growth through M&A, the business is searching for a high-calibre CFO to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and stakeholders to navigate the next phase of rapid and targeted expansion towards an eventual successful exit.

The CFO will contribute significantly to shape the business's future strategy, steering its growth trajectory, and ensuring a focus on long-term value. Key responsibilities include a comprehensive understanding of revenue and cost drivers, with an emphasis on performance optimisation, and evaluation of recurring revenue and subscriptions in the midst of the business's rapid growth.

Furthermore, the CFO will take charge of commercialising the business, introducing key performance indicators and strategic metrics, while also enhancing full board reporting . As an integral part of the leadership team,

you will act as a true business partner who will offer sustained commercial, financial, and operational input at the board level, as well as lead small yet focused finance team.

The ideal candidate:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA).
  • Experience of being a CFO/FD in a PE-Backed/Leveraged business within the SAAS and/or Tech enabled sectors, delivering successful growth and an exit
  • Have an understanding of recurring revenue business models /subscriptions.
  • Track record of defining KPIs, commercialising the business and driving improvements in reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in successfully expanding a business into new and/or adjacent sectors
  • A high level of motivation, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to be involved at all levels.
