Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Derby, UK (site-based)

Salary: Up to £60,000

Are you a commercially minded finance professional ready to take the lead in driving margin performance and pricing strategy? We're seeking a qualified Commercial Finance Manager to support a high-performing commercial team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.


In this pivotal role, you'll provide financial insights, influence pricing decisions, and shape commercial strategy through robust data analysis and business partnering. You'll be a key player in managing product master data, tracking cost movements, and supporting new product development and commercial forecasting.



Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear, actionable insight on customer and product profitability
• Develop and maintain pricing models and advise on margin improvements
• Partner cross-functionally across Commercial teams
• Lead product master data processes with accountability and control
• Support site budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Monitor cost price increases and ensure appropriate recovery through pricing
• Line manage two direct reports and deputise for senior finance leadership as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Strong background in costing and commercial finance
• Manufacturing experience essential
• Advanced Excel and confident use of other Microsoft Office tools
• A proactive, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams
