This role reports directly into the CEO and has the potential to develop into a CFO position at a leading, global investment management firm.
The business is an established but fast growing, global investment management firm with a focus on agriculture and real estate. They have an incredibly successful, long standing track record and plan on extending that for the foreseeable future.
This position is an essential hire and will be responsible for all financial, accounting, audit, human resources, banking, insurance and IT activities within the group and its investment entities. This will involve development and implementation of local reporting systems, ensuring internal/external administrative and reporting requirements and of course, the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reports - again for the group and its investments.
The role is all encompassing and as mentioned above, is not just limited to finance activities. They are looking for a commercial CFO who as well as keeping in house finance and administrators in shape can also oversee the investment entities and play a major part in transactions. It is an Executive Management Team position and as such, it is essential that this candidate feels they have the gravitas to lead and get things done.
The firm's UK office is based in London and has offices across Europe; most notably Romania and Poland where outsourced administrators and the majority of the investment team are based. As such, a Polish or Romanian speaker is highly desirable.
If you are looking for a rounded, commercial and broad CFO position within a reputable investment management firm, then this is a fantastic opportunity to land a management team level position. If of interest, please do not hesitate to contact Thomas Wesseldine for a discreet, private and confidential discussion. The detailed spec is also available upon request.
