Start your job searchA multi-site business is seeking a CFO to take complete ownership of the overall finances of the business. You will be managing a finance team and working closely with the chairman, board and managing director to ensure continued growth and success.
Responsibilities of the CFO will include:
- Leading the finance team
- Being prepared to investigate, analyse, and interpret all of the company's vital information in order to inform long term strategic decision making and planning.
- Take control over statutory financial reporting and day to day relationships with auditors and banks.
- Establish appropriate KPIs and monitoring targets.
- Take responsibility for budget preparation, monitoring performance and addressing issues where relevant.
- Control of inventory levels, warehouse costs both the UK, and stock valuation.
- Tighten up controls, assess data robustness, and be able to retrieve accurate up-to-date data at short notice.
- To act as a leader, with commercial insight, to set up and lead weekly/monthly meetings with management.
- To understand IT systems in order to assess whether they can cope with business demands, future proof the system, budget for the costs and monitor spending on IT.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
- Have extensive, and a proven track record, of working within multisite businesses
- Been in Autonomous FD/CFO role previously
