Commercial Manager - Private Equity

This Commercial Manager role is a key position within the Portfolio team of a leading Private Equity house situated in the heart of Mayfair. You will be the primary finance contact for the Private Equity team and liaise between them, the portfolio companies, the in house fund accountants and the investors.

The role is a commercial position that will ideally fuse Management Reporting experience with valuation work (high excel skills) - Prior DCF and modeling experience is desired. As the role is liaising with senior members of the business and portfolio companies, past experience of this is vital and as such the ideal candidate will be around 2 - 6 years post qualified.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with senior managmenet, executives and portfolio companies.
• Driving value-added analysis across portfolio companies.
• Monitoring progress vs business plans and investment cases.
• Ad-hoc project work for Private Equity team.
• Ownership and preparation of monthly Management Reporting, inc variance analysis and metrics.
• Assisting Private Equity team with exit reporting.

Key Skills

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalently qualified with 2-6 years post qualified experience.
• Experience in a Management Accounting/Information Reporting role.
• Advanced Excel skills including understanding of discounted cash flows and financial modeling.
• Ability to influence and build relationships with all levels of seniority.
