Corporate Tax Senior Manager / Aberdeen - Hybrid /£80,000 DOE with Benefits

Marks Sattin are collaborating with a Practice who have a global presence and are looking to bring in a new Corporate Tax Senior Manager.

The Role:

This role will be responsible for management of a compliance portfolio of UK compliance clients (large corporate or international). While reviewing advice and reports drafted by junior members of the team covering a range of international and large UK corporate tax issues.

  • Managing the delivery of advice for Large Corporates and international clients: Tax risk reviews, Transfer pricing, CFC, DTR, Permanent Establishments, Diverted Profit Tax, Profit Fragmentation.
  • Co-ordinating the delivery of advice from international teams.
  • Preparing tax opinions and seeking opinions from Tax Counsel on complex matters.
  • Interpreting and analysing new and developing UK legislation
  • Building and developing relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for new work from existing and new clients
  • Developing and growing our managers, assistant managers and junior tax advisors and supporting the training of our wider CT team
  • Support the leadership team with key business wide projects and initiatives e.g. tax technology developments, growth initiatives.

Skills:

  • ACA/ ATT/CTA/ADIT Qualified
  • Strong UK corporate tax experience
  • Experience of UK and overseas compliance and international tax advisory work
  • Successful management of international and large corporate projects
  • Experience in coaching junior team members
