Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working in partnership with a large organisation based in Cardiff to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for completing the month-end close and providing accurate and insightful commentary and analysis to aid in business decision-making. This role will be well suited to qualified candidates with a successful track record of leading small teams in a commercial finance setting.
The Finance Business Partner role is based in Cardiff with flexibility to work from home on a hybrid basis.
Key responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders within the business unit to deliver financial plans including budgets and forecasts, organise and lead business planning sessions and coordinate a team of management accountants
- Analyse cost areas of the business providing recommendations of improvement
- Develop and maintain cost models to support ongoing long-term planning processes
- Delivery of accurate and timely information, including month end close and reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
- Analysis of cost vs forecast, providing deep dive analysis of variances
- Partner with budget holders to evaluate findings and determine the impact on business plans
About your experience
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA
- Proven track record in a commercial finance role
- Demonstrable experience of leading a small team
- Proven background in business partnering, ability to form cross functional relationships
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
