A multinational transport and logistics business based in London is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their fast-paced finance function.

12 Month FTC - £55-60k + Bonus + Benefits

The role will be responsible for management reporting, financial forecasting and analysis, transformation projects, and providing insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Duties include:

- A strong focus on driving financial performance

- Business Partnering with the wider team and presenting complex financial data to non-finance staff

- Contribute to the preperation and monitorting of Budgets, Forecasts & Business Plans (including financial modelling)

- Identify areas for cost improvements or reduction through monitoring & analysis of financial performance

- Oversee and manage project accounting activities - including evaluating project success, developing business cases to facilitate key investment decisions and ensuring robust tracking for project control and delivery.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues across the Group

- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements.

- Identify areas for improving processes, leading the implementation and standardisation of these changes across the business

- Liaising and providing support to internal/external audit quieries

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) either from an audit background or having progressed in industry.

Candidates must have practical technical accounting experience including reporting and financial analysis. This role would be best suited to someone with strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside of finance.

Candidates must have strong systems and Excel capabilities with the drive and ambition to add value and support with business cases.
