Marks Sattin Executive Search has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Finance Director to join a fast-growing owner-founder-led International IT Services Business. The Finance Director will work with the owner-founders to prepare the business for a successful exit ideally later this year.

The Finance Director will be responsible for running the day-to-day finance function of the business. As well as help to commercialise the business through the implementation of extensive KPI analysis.

The Finance Director will act as a true business partner who will offer sustained commercial, financial, and operational input at the board level. The Finance Director will be a valued contributor to executive-level strategy through preparation of detailed and incisive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities will include complete management of the finance team (including overall responsibility for payroll and pensions) and overseeing the development and maintenance of financial systems and procedures, including appropriate IT systems.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered
• A background in IT Services or SaaS based business helpful but not essential
• Been an autonomous Finance Director, with practical and demonstrable knowledge of successfully taking a business through an Exit (ideally to Private Equity).
• Demonstrable experience of complex consolidations and international experience with exposure to multi-currency and country accounts
• Excellent communication and presentational skills
• Demonstrate a track record of business process and operations.
• Strong financial modelling and formula skills via excel.
