Marks Sattin Executive Search has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Director to join a PE-backed entertainment business based in Central London, and enable its continued growth leading to a successful Exit in the not too distant future.

The business produces premium media products for global audiences, and has become a leader in the Creative Industries. This is a great opportunity for a Finance Director, or a Financial Controller with experience of working in a PE Backed business looking to step up, to join a highly reputable media business with significant growth potential, resulting in an Exit.

The Finance Director will be responsible for running the day-to-day finance function of the business. As well as help to commercialise the business through the implementation of extensive KPI analysis.

You will act as a true business partner who will offer sustained commercial, financial, and operational input at the board level. The Finance Director will be a valued contributor to executive-level strategy through preparation of detailed and incisive performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities will include complete management of the finance team (including overall responsibility and overseeing the development and maintenance of financial systems and procedures, including appropriate IT systems.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
• A background in the Media/Creative or related Industries would be helpful but not essential
• Experience as a Finance Director or a Financial Controller in a PE backed business
• Excellent communication and presentational skills
