Start your job searchReporting into the Founder, this Finance Director role will take full responsibility for all of the finance and operations. This is the first non investment hire and as such will be an integral part of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone from an SME (any industry) or the fund management space (PE or VC).
The business is one of the most exciting investment houses in Europe. Operating globally, they invest early and play an active role in building teams and growing them. Their debut fund was an incredibly success and they plan on raising another next year.
This is an opportunity to join a boutique investment fund with a focus on one of the most exciting areas for growth; tech, e-commerce and media.
As the Finance Director, your main responsibility will be the scaling of three key business functions: financial accounting and management, fund management and compliance. However, you will also play an active role, working with portfolio companies as they too try to scale their own finance and operations functions. As well as liaising with both investors and investments, you will also work closely with the founder to develop company strategies in areas where you can leverage off your expertise.
This role is a commercial, broad and part of a growing venture capital firm - positions at this level, in this industry do not come round often.
