• Monthly management accounting cycle:
  • Full general ledger reconciliations and analysis.
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers for three group companies.
  • Maintenance of inter-company balances.
  • Preparation of management accounts for review and analysis.
• Annual accounting cycle:
  • Preparation of working papers to audit standard.
• Confidential Invoice Discounting:
  • Whilst this is actually transactional, the construction environment requires a higher level of management of the process.
• VAT:
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting.

Forecasting

• Maintenance of integrated financial forecast model, including covenant reporting.
• Maintenance of detailed sales forecast model.
• Short-term cashflow forecasting model management.

Project accounting

• Job cost ledger management.
• Assist the Commercial Team with the production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation ("CVR") reporting, together with ad hoc reporting as required.
• Sales/application ledger management (also see invoice discounting above).

Transactions

• Ability to assist with the transactional side of the Finance Teams as and when required. This would include purchase ledger processing, weekly and monthly subcontractor payments, and bank reconciliation and processing for example.
• Deputizing for the Accounts Manager in her absence.
