Finance Manager - Private Equity - 9 months contract

A mid sized private equity firm have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join their business on a contract basis, but there may be longer term opportunties.

Day Rate: £400-£500 per day depending on experience.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have broad responsibility for the Corporate Accounting within the business.

It's a very nice working environment with hybrid working practices (in the office 3 days a week, 2 from home), based in the West End.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounting
  • Financial reporting under IFRS
  • FCA quarterly reporting for the regulated entities
  • Developing & maintaining financial controls
  • Cashflow management & forecasting
  • Preparing management information and performance metrics for senior management

Candidate Criteria:

  • You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA) with at least 4 years' PQE
  • Have experience of working in a similar environment (alternative investments) and general accounting skills
  • Strong accounting skills
  • A strong communicator, be able to work autonomously
  • Available immediately or at very short notice
