Salary: Up to £40,000 + additional benefits.

As part of their growth at the Liverpool site, they are now looking to recruit for a number of vacancies in our Business Services Centre.

The Financial Accountant will be a key member of the Accounting Services team taking a lead on processing Period End accounts, and act as the main support for the Accounting Services Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Run the Period End process
• Reporting and consolidation
• Capital Reporting
• Supports the strong controls and compliance agenda
• Completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Completion of VAT and other regulatory returns
• Foreign currency management
• Statutory Accounts
• Completion of working capital and cash flow forecasting and reporting.

The candidate:

Qualifications

• Ideally professionally qualified, between 1-3 years PQE.

Background

• Role may suit someone coming from a practice background, due to focus on controls, compliance and technical requirements, however other backgrounds that incorporated strong controls and compliance will not be excluded

• Excellent spreadsheet skills
• Strong technical and controls background, balance sheet management
• Good communicator
• Willing to get involved. Role will be a good combination of processing and reviewing.
