Financial Accountant - Reading (Hybrid) - £50,000 to £60,000

I am pleased to be working with our clients to find a Financial Accountant, focused on sitting within the Acquisitions team, this role would ideally suit a first time mover from practice looking to move into industry.

A fast growing, acquisitive company backed by private equity, you will oversee the seamless incorporation of newly acquired assets into a rapidly expanding portfolio. With an aggressive growth strategy through acquisitions. The opportunity involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure top-tier management of asset and corporate acquisitions, driving strategic goals.

About the role....

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with Group and private equity teams to advance and execute opportunities within set timelines.
  • Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for commercial finance teams, assisting them in understanding the financial impact of new acquisitions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Support meetings with third parties, responding to queries from legal advisors and other stakeholders.
  • Transition Oversight: Document and manage the handover of acquired assets to internal teams and legal firms for ongoing management.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance acquisition and onboarding process documentation, contributing to new system implementations.

About you....

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Ideal for individuals with practice experience looking to transition into industry roles.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong initiative.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage across various teams and departments.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities independently.
